Camp Details

1. Christmas Camp
09:00 to 16:00 on Tuesday December 29th and Wednesday December 30th, 2009
Meet at Edelweiss Valley
Primary Goals: Equipment check and tuning, shaking off the ‘rust’ from the summer, establishing goals and lesson plans for the season, having fun

2.Carving the Future Camp
Date and location to be confirmed with organizers
Work with past National Alpine Team coaches in a fun and constructive manner. Focus is on developing as an athlete.

3.Masters Race Night
Participate in a Masters Race (stubby slalom @ Vorlage on Wednesday, February 17, 2010)
12:00-13:00 meet and get ready for skiing
13:00 – 16:00 training
16:00 – 18:30 Dinner and prepare for race (dinner not included in camp)
18:30 – 21:00 Race (two, possibly 3 timed runs)
21:00 – 22:00 Apres Ski with Masters crowd

4.Division Trip Black Diamond Camp
Use the division trip to Mont-Saint-Sauveur (date to be confirmed)
Make use of longer, steeper hills
Snow conditions and terrain will dictate focus – bumps? glades? gates?

* based upon the Christmas Camp attendance and outcomes, we'll keep in mind the Ontario Paras at Calabogie from Jan 22-24, 2010. We'd like to promote stronger, race-interested athletes to attend and participate. But this will not be a 'camp' per se.
