From Ottawa- Hull

The easiest route is:

• Get across the river from Ottawa into Hull/Gatineau
• Leave the Hull area heading north on Highway 5
• At Wakefield leave highway 5 and head east on Route 366 (currently this is the end of Highway 5)
• Cross the river following the 366 and Sommet Edelweiss is about 5 kilometres on your right.

There is an alternative route which uses route 307 following the east side of the Gatineau river. Some GPS algorithms believe it is a few seconds shorter, but it is certainly a tougher drive, with many more bends; and is less well ploughed on a snowy day.
